Why should I pay my alumnae dues?
Your dues ensure that the Portland Alumnae Association not only exists, but can continue Kappa's mission to provide leadership and growth opportunities for all its members. The association is solely financially supported by the dues payments of Kappas like you!
What do I get for paying my dues?
Besides knowing that you're supporting Kappa's mission for future generations here in Portland, members in good standing receive the following:
- ​Voting rights on official Portland AA business
- Eligibility to serve as a Portland AA Officer or Chairman
- Eligibility to serve on an Advisory or House Board*

Where does Dues Money Go?
- Per Capita Fees: Per Capita fees go to the Fraternity, which pays for technology, Fraternity staff and Headquarters needs, publishing and distribution of The Key Magazine, as well as Chapter and Alumnae Association Support.
- Association Operating Budget: The remaining funds go towards Alumnae Association programming, mail distribution, chapter support, philanthropy donations, operating expenses and sending delegates to District meetings (odd years) and the biannual Convention (even years).
